For our Silver Anniversary, we wanted to try someplace different, but we still needed the ocean. What we found was the little coastal town of Morro Bay, a little north of San Luis Obispo and south of San Simeon. 

We both enjoy the beaches and the ocean. Dianne has to get her feet wet and frolic in the water, but Larry is content to stroll along taking pictures. 

Larry liked the fishing boats, while Dianne took delight in the antique shops in Cayucos. 

On our way home, we stopped in San Simeon to visit Hearst Castle.  We’ve decided that any of Hearst’s guest houses would make a suitable retirement home.
